Role — Designer & Creator
When — 2012 / 2013
A new identity for photographer Jon Paley, bringing clarity and strength to his brand was vital.
Worldwide photographer Jon Paley required a brand that would stand out, suit his work and ultimately be long lasting.
Jon came to me in 2012 wanting to create an identity for his photography business that would support his wide range of photographic skills. Jon is ultimately a lifestyle photographer, taking photographs of moments that he sees; from people, to landscapes or experiences.
This wide variety of image types meant that Jon’s work didn’t fit a particular style, and his brand needed to accommodate for that. The brand also needed to encapsulate his character; he will often never meet those who buy his work, and so he required something which felt strong, bold and clear; all reflecting him as an individual.
The brand aims to bring together all of these elements whilst also being low-cost on production. The nature of Jon’s travel means that he requires a brand he can print and produce from almost anywhere in the world and reproduce at a small cost.
The new brand is set to launch in August this year to co-inside with his next trip to Australia.
