VW Advertisements aimed to inspire purchases of the re-released and much loved Campervan.
The VW Campervan is one of the most recognisable vehicles on the market. In 2010 I set about creating a set of advertisements which would support a potential re-release of the much loved vehicle.
At the time, the recession was at an all-time high, and money for purchases of new vehicles was few and far between. It appeared that any advertisement couldn’t be a shiny, beautiful production, instead it needed to inspire change in customers’ mindsets.
In order to create this change I needed to find a believable cause for buying the vehicle. I rested on the vehicle’s ability to be fantastic for British holidays; addressed all the pain points of traveling abroad and repositioned the VW Campervan to be the ultimate answer for men and their British holidays.
